Marana is home to more than 38,000 people who live in a wide variety of home styles from older rural homes in an agricultural setting to large master-planned communities offering lifestyle amenities to custom homes with scenic desert and mountain views. North Marana or ?Old Marana? is still a rural and agricultural area, but new residential development, featuring some older homes, modular homes and 10-acre ranchettes, will bring new life to the area. Dove Mountain is a popular master-planned community with sweeping mountain vistas, an equestrian trail and two challenging golf courses. It hosts a wide range of single-family homes starting at $100,000. Marana Real Estate Stats and Trends for the week of April 17th, 2020: homes priced around $249,431 compared to $249,431 the previous week, to remain steady with no change in listing price.  For Friday, April 17th, the current national mortgage rate for a 30 year fixed mortgage is 4.51%; the 15 year fixed rate is at 3.90%. For a loan larger than conventional conforming loans, or 'jumbo' loan, the 30 year rate is 4.41%, while the 15 year jumbo rate currently is at 4.12%.
